I just read an online source (tradewindsfruit.com) that quoted this, “Tepin and Pequin peppers are the trickiest, generally taking 3-6 months to germinate in warm soil. Do not use acidic soil.”
So based on that statement and if it is indeed fact, then perhaps this is why many folks fail to successfully grow these Wild Pepper Seeds. They probably give up before the seeds germinate due to the unusual long period of germination.
So perhaps a little more patience may be required before totally giving up. That does sound unusually long though.
