I just want to update all my readers that the 2010 Pequin Pepper plants are already producing the hot and tasty fruits. Some plants are ahead of some of the others as far as the production goes.
The three Pequin Pepper plants that I transplanted last year are doing great! They are so healthy and vigorous. As a matter of fact, the photo above is from one of those transplanted plants. I hope they produce hundreds of Pequin Peppers in the next few weeks. They are a great addition to the plants I already have.
As most of you already know, I work for a south Texas county. And we come in contact with dozens of Wild Pepper Plants that are just growing wild alongside the roads we maintain and naturally, yours truly, from time-to-time, helps himself to one or two, on certain occasions.
And just for the record, every single Pequin Pepper plant that I’ve transplanted, has taken and developed into very nice fruiting plants. They are just so very transplantable friendly that anyone would have success transplanting them.
I’ve mentioned in other posts here that I freeze the Pequin Peppers and then use them to make salsas on later dates. Well, they really hold their taste and fire very well. I still have plenty of frozen Pequin Peppers from almost two years ago that I am using, and I tell you, fire is fire, and great taste is great taste! One would think, by the way it tastes, that the salsa was made from fresh picked Wild Peppers. The taste is just so amazing!
I just got my brand new camera today (6/12/2010) and the two photos in this post which were taken earlier this morning, are from some of the 2010 CHILEPEQUIN.COM Pepper Plants. So now when I start shipping out the 2010 Pequin Pepper Seeds, I will start and document my own Seed Planting Project and post the progress and results here. I can hardly wait for that!
There are a handful of you that have already pre-purchased 2010 Pequin Pepper Seeds and have been added to the shipping list. You will be among the very first to receive your Pequin Seed Orders as soon as the seeds become available. I will keep you informed!
BTW, read the comments on this post as one of our seed buyers from California, has had success with some of her seeds. I’m trying to get her to do a follow-up and include her exact planting methods so the rest of us can learn from her experience. I urge anyone else that has had planting success to drop by and leave us a note on your experience with our seeds.
Thanks for dropping by and paying CHILEPEQUIN.COM a visit.
